PARTY FOR THE PETS

Electric Boys is a celebration of the human-animal bond and the love we have for our dogs (aka. “The Boys”)

Harnessing the power of our community to raise money for S.O.A.R. Initiative through an immersive blend of music, live arts, elaborate decorations and interactive games.

The goal of Electric Boys is to serve as a conduit for local community consciousness through the music and arts of Indianapolis as a symbiotic relationship of caring for the holistic well-being of our city and its culture.

SOAR INITIATIVE

At the core of the festival is promotion for our partner charity, SOAR Initiative.

SOAR works hand-in-hand with vulnerable communities to provide access to health and pet care services for those in need and preserve connection between humans and animals. SOAR makes the most of every penny they receive to help thousands of pets and families gain access to essential services every year.

Electric Boys integrates SOAR throughout the event with speeches, fun facts, and volunteer/donation information to ensure as many people learn about them and their mission as possible. Through ticket sales, individual donations, and an auction Electric Boys raised over $2,300 for SOAR during the 2025 event.

2025

This was a big year for us as we finally graduated from our backyard and hosted the show publicly at Black Circle AND officially partnered with SOAR Initiative! So many people came from across the country to perform and attend and come together to make this year as special as it was! Absolutely bonkers lineup tbh

2024

We didn’t know it at the time that this was the last one in our beloved backyard, but we went out with a BANG! The family was in full effect this year and the music was incredible. We built a brand new stage for this year to host full bands and the rock-paper-scissors tournament was intense as expected!

2023

This was the first year that we really decided to buckle down and try to make Electric Boys reach its potential. Featuring an all-star lineup of artists that held us down through the early years and made Electric Boys what it is today. Kait’s personal favorite poster too 🙂

2022

By this point we could start to feel the potential of what this event could be. The Electric Boys circle was growing and that is really highlighted in this lineup. We refined our goals and aesthetic this year and made a lot of connections in the process. Demetri aka. Meatbol stood guard to protect the vibes at all costs!

2021

With the response to the inaugural event, we had no choice but to run it back again the following year. With lock-down restrictions lifted, we went all out and did everything we wanted to do in 2020. Was amazing to see the connections being made at each show and the community growing in front of our eyes. Of course the star of the show was Alonzo aka. Sweet Baby Bonz!

2020

Amidst a flurry of “i miss your face” texts during the lock-down was born the origins of what is now known as Electric Boys. A socially distanced outcry for connection and community and excuse to showcase our talented friends. Our beloved boy Geno was our totem at festivals for years, so it was only right that we honored the one and only Big Body Bean.
